Home sweet home

The TWgroup team is home from the ITT event Cyprus.

We produced three special episodes of the Purple Pod, live blogged the event and took part in TW TV.

News here. Live blog here.

Some ITT stuff

Travolution and the rest of the TW Group will be out in force at the ITT conference in Cyprus from 9 to 12 June.

As well as the usual live blogging from Travolution, Travel Weekly and Travolution are combining forces for a dedicated TW Group ITT Blog.

The group, as official media partner, will also heading be down the TV route with interviews and analysis during the event.

Keep an eye out for three special editions of the Travolution Purple Pod podcasts, produced at the conference but available as always by adding this feed to your RSS reader or via iTunes [NB: link opens your iTunes application].

If you are attending and want to feature on the podcast, email me ahead of the event.

Normal service resumes...

...tomorrow. Our apologies, we have been blogging like demons on the ITT Conference Blog for the past four days.

The June edition of our magazine will hit the desks of many UK subscribers on Tuesday. Let us know what you think.

For those who do not receive the magazine, get a copy of the next edition (September) by signing up here.

Double blogging for Travolution

Travolution is heading off to the ITT Conference in Gran Canaria today.

ITT has asked the TW Group, the umbrella brand for Travolution, Travel Weekly and Gazetteers.com, to create a "media pod" for the event, including a blog, so our usual live blogging will take place on a dedicated site, ITTConference07.Blogspot.com.

Add it to your RSS readers for regular updates.

Incidentally, our first ever live blogging took place almost a year to the day, at the ITT Conference in Oman.

Travolution@PhoCusWright Brussels

Time for some live blogging again next week at the PhoCusWright conference in Brussels.

Following the success of both our coverage in June of the ITT Conference in Oman and Tricia Holly Davis’s trip to Chicago in July at the NBTA Convention, the Travolution Blog will be live on Tuesday 26 and Wednesday 27 September to follow events as they unfold.

Speakers during the two-day conference include Simon Vincent (Opodo), Dermot Halpin (Expedia), David Soskin (Cheapflights), Heather Hopkins (Hitwise), Tim Frankcom (Yahoo!) and Mike Nelson (Travelport).

Check back regularly for updates or take an RSS feed direct from the blog.

Travolution’s current favourite for aggregating RSS feeds is NetVibes – highly recommended
