Introducing...Hereorthere.com
[Second new entry this week]
Check out this personal effort from Hugo Burge, vice chairman of Cheapflights.
Hereorthere.com is a travel experiences website, allowing users to upload photos and content and rate the entries from others.
News story here.
Let us know what you think. We can send any feedback to Burge...

It is a rather nice site i think, especially if you consider Hugo has created it on his own (although he isn't short of a bob or two i bet).
MLF: you're often first in on the comments! well done.
anyway, Burge told us he had enlisted the help of a designer and some developers, so it's not all his own work - but he insists it's a personal project and not under the cheapflights umbrella.
Thanks for the feedback. All encouragement gratefully received.
At the moment this is a solo-project that has been run on a shoe string.
It is interesting to see how far you can go with minimal spend. It is an interesting experiment given the work I am doing at HOWZAT to invest in early stage internet Companies.
Certainly it is not all my own handywork, sadly I am a technical dunce for a start and am lucky enough to have found a great design lead.
There is nobody working full time on the site but as it builds momentum I am excited to think where it can go.
Just for the record I am now pretty skint.
I like the look of the site. Very clean and I like the personalisation/community elements on there. The rating tool is good too... not bad for a shoe string.
maswey: irrelevant to the conversation.
