Here is the new TimesOnline Travel section...

One wonders what the new TravelMail will look like...

That's not very kind! Times site has finally started working for me just in the past few hours. Seems like they've had terrible problems today.
A bit like the new Travel Weekly and the New Statesman, perchance?
Erica: yes, you have a point. But Travel Weekly and the New Statesman are not aimed at the same audience (in any way shape or form!!).
Absolutely. The The New Statesman and Travel Weekly have design similarities.
Both were redesigned by the same design agency - the award winning Esterson Associates, who incidentally have also had their hand in some of The Guardian's more memorable redesigns.
We love our new look - hope others do too.
Diverging from the original topic somewhat, but as a former client I couldn't agree more with Couz: Esteron is the best.
Getting back on topic! ;)
I prefer the times site in design because it's easier to navigate, and much less scrolling.
From content Guardian beats The Times hands down. Why oh Why do media sites like these intend on adding banner advertising at the top of the page, which makes us scroll down before we can read any content.
